The purpose of a lost motion assembly is to isolate expensive pipe and cable gripping devices from the reciprocating motion of a plowing blade. Since most vibratory plows vibrate at the rate of 2,000 strokes per minute directly connecting a gripping device to a plowing blade will cause it to fail prematurely.
We offer several lost-motion assemblies that cover just about every blade/gripping device combination on the market today. Most of our assemblies use threaded adapters for ease of attachment and are manufactured from quality materials for long service life.
